Endicott Wedding

Last month Dustin and Emily had the most beautiful and perfect wedding day! The weather couldn't have been more perfect giving the full experience at Swan Lake allowing for a beautiful indoor/outdoor reception. The couple stayed on the resort with their families and bridal parties which was very convient! And I mean the aesthetic of these rentals?! Come on look how bridal the rental was that the girls got ready in?! I was in my GLORY!

The most perfect thing was Emily's timeline! Emily knew this was what was going to create the feel of her day, and so she fully trusted the professionals myself and the amazing Lauren Dabney at Swan lake to create her timeline to allow for all of it, and it was followed well and the day went SOO smooth!

Lauren at Swan lake is the real MVP you will never meet a coordinator like her! I have worked with her as a photographer and even got to work with her when she did my cousin's wedding where I was in the bridal party and I loved her in both ways!

Emily and Dustin shared their story of meeting in preschool, Dustin taking a chance in middle school, and how they finally got together after high school. Almost like a movie or romantic novel it didn't even sound real! But, they are very real and they are adorable! They have so many wonderful people around them and I loved meeting them all and documenting their celebration.

Their beautiful ideas like having the bride's mother and grandmother's dress, the yard games, food truck catering, and the extremely tasteful boho decorations were simply the best! One other thing that they did that I haven't seen before was doing a painting on canvas ceremony instead of a sand ceremony, great idea and it played out so well! Their canvas was adorable and will make such a great piece to treasure forever!

Let me tell you though.. My second shooter Megan and I LOST it for the father daughter dance. Us and the rest of the guests were in awe when the DJ announced that the song that would be played was recorded by the bride's father. There was not a dry eye in that room listening to that recording. Let me tell you, Dad has got some pipes! It was amazing! Then the switch to the Mother-son.. that momma was just so in love with her new daughter in law she couldn't help but make her special moment with her son still a spotlight on this beautiful couple.

Also a little tip in here, I said I would devote an entire blog to this, but for the sake of time I will just add this little tid-bit. The button up back of the bride's dress was giving everyone a hard time, but her Maid of honor, Alexis, came in clutch with some professional looking tweezers and I am going to tell you right now.. WAY better then the crochet hook idea! If you need a good gown buttoning tool I highly recommend. I watched with my jaw on the floor of how well this worked. Here is the link to one that blew my mind, Dress Hooking Tweezers.

Emily and Dustin thank you for allowing me to capture your day and trusting me with your memories. I hope you treasure these photos for the rest of your lives!
